Week 7: The camera calls!

Week six brought with it a fun and fulfilling wellness brand shoot. It was an interesting challenge to balance the brand’s spiritual ethos while ensuring that the product was highlighted effectively. The shoot itself was smooth, and the photographer and I experimented with many different shots, which was exciting for me. But what really made the week stand out was my growing curiosity about cameras.

During the breaks, I took every opportunity to pick up the camera and learn more. The team was incredibly patient with me—something I really appreciate about this company. I learned about ISO settings and how they affect the exposure, along with focusing the product and even motion tracking for videos. While I’m still far from an expert, the opportunity to practice made me realize how much I wanted to dive deeper into photography.

Even during the home decor shoot with the new joinee, I found myself taking the camera and capturing shots that I’d envisioned in my mind.

This really helped me understand how to communicate better with the photographer, and it was rewarding to see my vision come to life. Still learning, but excited to keep exploring photography in the future!

THAT’S ME!!
