Week 4: A Breather with a Side of Challenges

This week was a bit more relaxed, but still packed with learning. I got my hands on an editorial project for a real estate client, something completely new for me. I had never worked in real estate design before, so it was an exciting challenge. It felt great when my founders trusted me with it, especially since they know editorial design is a strength of mine.

I also assisted with a brand shoot, which turned out to be a photography crash course. I picked up new terms like key light and lighting techniques that made me realize how crucial good lighting and a steady camera are. Editing can fix a lot, but lighting is everything.

The real kicker was when I found out the client needed the editorial piece finalized in just three hours. There I was, rushing through the last tweaks, but in the end, they loved it.

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing a project come together under pressure.
