Week 2: Thrown into the deep end of the pool (but with a life jacket)

I was expecting my initial weeks to be an easy ride where i’m just acquainted to the place and with no major work.

But oh how terribly mistaken i was.

I got to know that i’m being given a brand and the product shoot for it is happening THE NEXT DAY. My role was to moodboard for it and on the shoot day, direct the photographer and explain how i envision the brand’s products. I was also responsible for overseeing the post production of it.

It was extremely terrifying, but I’m equally proud to say that the first shoot was a success. I learnt how important it is to clearly explain my idea and use the right words to convery my vision to the photographer.

PS. The 12-post grid for this brand goes live in April. Do check it out @thecollective.india on Instagram :)
